The position

Wirt Financial Services, Bay City, 1985. The Wirt Rivette Group today.

Most investors allocate capital. WRG has also owned and operated the assets it finances. That is why our underwriting is a judgment, not a model.

Four decades of operating senior living communities, developing property and financing the equipment that operating businesses depend on taught us what a spreadsheet cannot: where the risk actually sits. The four platforms are not a diversification strategy. They are the four places our operating knowledge is deep enough to justify putting our own money at risk, and the reason a counterparty gets a firm answer from the person who will live with it.

Four platforms enter on one side, one underwriting method on the other. Both terminate on the same governed spine, which is why a commitment in senior living and a commitment in equipment finance carry the same signature.

Where the capital goes

Four decades of deployment across operating companies, real assets, private credit and external managers. One balance sheet, no single-asset-class mandate.

01

Operating businesses

Control and minority equity in companies where our capital and operating perspective are additive, held without a fund clock.

Direct equity

02

Real assets

Commercial, multi-family, senior living and government-tenanted property, developed and held alongside long-standing partners.

Owned & developed

03

Private credit

Senior and junior positions in situations we understand, underwritten to the downside case rather than to a rating.

Yield & downside

04

Structured & hybrid capital

Recapitalizations, succession and shareholder liquidity for owners who need certainty rather than a process.

Situation-driven

05

Co-investment

Alongside sponsors and managers we already know, sized to conviction and closed on the sponsor's timeline.

Sponsor-side

06

External manager allocations

Long-dated LP commitments across strategies and vintages, including anchor positions for emerging managers.

Real assets are one expression of the mandate, not the mandate itself. Operating equity, structured and credit positions, and manager allocations are held privately and disclosed under NDA. Ownership structures vary by vehicle.
